In order to raise money for the school to support many educational enrichment programs school fundraisers are organized. Some of the prevalent fundraising activities are organized by the schools and the associated groups in the school like the Parent Teacher Association and the Parent Teacher Organization. They find many creative ways to raise funds like school carnivals, auctions, dinner events, bake sales and sometimes aggressive advertising, grant-winning, affinity programs, and straight forward donation requests.
